What were they thinking!!??
They did not staff the ticket windows properly, knowing the event was close to being sold out! People were waiting in line without any water available for over an hour. The line came to an abrupt halt because they had to wait in the same TWO lines as the others. Because of a scanning problem, the season ticket holders were in line with us and they would not open a window for them to resolve their issues. Even if they were not part of the line and were complete strangers, the workers were allowing people to come up to the window and purchase tickets with the person in the front of the line. I sent my brother with a $20 bill to an outskirt vendor to purchase as much water for the small children in front of me and ourselves. We were excited when we finally got the opportunity to go in, 2nd quarter, until we found out they had already changed the direction of the escalators and my pregnant sister in law had to walk up the ramps. We bought 4 tickets but ended up needing 9 total the day of the event, reassured that it would not be a problem getting tickets at window. I hope they get some compensation, but I felt terrible for the season ticket holders and being an ex season ticket holder myself, I am sure they will NOT. We will NEVER go to another Alex Edelman game again.
